Madrid, Aug 16 (EFE).- Real Madrid midfielder Francisco Roman Alarcon "Isco" said at a press conference here Friday that Tottenham's Gareth Bale would be a great signing for Los Blancos and create "quite a problem" for coach Carlo Ancelotti, who would need to find room on the field for the Welsh winger.

"Bale is a fantastic player. If he comes over, it'll create quite a problem for the coach" in deciding which current member of the squad he would replace, the Spanish attacking midfielder said.

Bale, who has been struggling with nagging injuries, is to be kept out of the Spurs' first Premier League game Sunday against Crystal Palace amid much speculation about his future. Real Madrid has offered 100 million euros for the player, but Tottenham has thus far refused to sell him.

The summer transfer window closes at the end of August.

Isco, for his part, is believed to have a strong chance of starting in Real Madrid's first La Liga match of the 2013-2014 season against Real Betis, also on Sunday.

The 21-year-old, who was signed by the Spanish-league titans in the offseason from Malaga, says of his teammates that he has been surprised by their "humility and desire to keep working. That's important for winning titles."

He also praised Ancelotti, saying Real Madrid's new manager is a "perfect" fit for the squad.
