U.S. Sports Desk, Sep 16 (EFE).- Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning outdueled his younger brother, Giants QB Eli Manning, leading Denver to a 41-23 victory over New York in NFL action over the weekend.
The 37-year-old Peyton has beaten the 32-year-old Eli in all three of their head-to-head match-ups, which have been dubbed the "Manning Bowls" by fans and the media.
"It's a strange feeling," Peyton Manning said. "It's not like beating another team. It's not quite as enjoyable as it would be if you were beating somebody else."
Peyton's two previous wins against Eli and the Giants came when he was the QB of the Indianapolis Colts.
Peyton Manning finished 30 of 43 for 307 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions, giving him a quarterback passer rating of 105.5 in leading the Broncos (2-0) to victory.
Eli, who has two Super Bowl rings to Peyton's one, had his second bad outing in a row, throwing four interceptions to push his NFL-leading total to seven picks.
Eli Manning completed 28 of 49 passes for 362 yards, with one touchdown and four interceptions, giving him a QBR of 53.3 as the Giants fell to 0-2.
