Latvia's top ranked tennis player Ernests Gulbis has stayed put in the latest ATP rankings and is currently ranked 55th. At the moment, Gulbis has 791 ranking points.
As reported, at the beginning of March, Gulbis was triumphant in notching his third ATP singles title at Delray Beach, defeating Edouard Roger Vasselin (France) 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. In the middle of March, Gulbis reached the fourth round at Indian Wells, losing to Rafael Nadal (Spain) 6-4, 4-6, 5-7 and ending his 13-match winning streak.
Among the other Latvian players in the ATP rankings, Andis Juska drops 56 places to 391st, Martins Podzus slips one place to 920th, Deniss Pavlovs falls 303 places to 1,012th.
Mikelis Libietis is 1,402nd, Krisjanis Stabins - 1,413th, Oskars Vaskis - 1,574th, Arkadijs Slobodkins - 1,775th.
At the top of the table, Novak Djokovic (Serbia) remains first. Andy Murray (Great Britain), who defeated David Ferrer (Spain) in the Miami Masters final yesterday, regains the world number two ranking, Roger Federer (Switzerland) is third.
