Oman, Brazil hold official talks

Oman and Brazil held official talks at the Council of Ministers’ headquarters in Muscat on Monday. The Omani side was led by H H Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, while the Brazilian side was led by Vice President Michel Temer.

Sayyid Fahd began the meeting by welcoming the guest and his accompanying delegation. Temer spoke on his meeting with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on Sunday.

He expressed admiration of the achievements made by Oman and said both countries were on the same stance on several international issues.

Sayyid Fahd reviewed existing ties between the two countries. He spoke on the importance of pushing forward cooperation in different fields as well as exchange of expertise in different areas.

He highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in agriculture and fisheries sectors. Later, Sayyid Fahd hosted a dinner for the guests.
