A 10-day certificate training course on “Eidetic Psychotherapy and Eidetic Model of Growth” concluded at the Government College University (GCU). GCU Vice Chancellor Dr Khaleequr Rahman chaired the closing ceremony of the training course organized by the GCU Psychology Department’s Clinical Psychology Unit in collaboration the Higher Education Commission and Professional Association of Clinical Psychologists (PACP).
Speaking on the occasion, the VC underlined the intricate relationship between religion and psychology, and said it was psychologists’ duty to help propagate wisdom in the society. He said intolerance, egotistic attitudes and greed were destroying the social fabric of society. “I consider psychologists as reformers of the society and it is their responsibility to give ideas and policies through indigenous research to form and maintain a healthy society,” he added.
