Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today got acquainted with AITF 2013, the Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair, APA reports.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Ebulfaz Garayev told the head of the state that geography of participating countries increases year by year. This year’s event has brought together 250 companies from 35 countries. The fair has been organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Iteca Caspian and ITE Group. Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, UAE, Georgia, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey and Egypt will exhibit with national stands. Montenegro, Thailand, Tunis, Canada, Morocco and Monaco for the first time take part in the fair. At the same time, over 20 regions of Azerbaijan demonstrate products and services with a wide range of stands.
Besides, it was noted that the fair is being supported by WTO, AzPromo, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and the International Tourism Trade Fairs Association. President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the pavilions of the fair.
