Anadolu Efes trounced TED Ankara Kolejliler 85-67 at home on Sunday in order to stay alive in the race for the men's Beko Turkish Basketball League (TBL) title.
Efes, the quarterfinalists of the topflight Euroleague with one match to spare, started off the game on a good note and obtained a double digit lead at the end of the first quarter, 31-20. The Istanbul giant was up 47-30 at halftime. The guests reduced the difference in the second half with Efes taking a 57-53 lead in the third quarter. With a superior performance in rest of the game, Efes increased the margin and wrapped up the match 85-67. Efes keeps its place in the top three following the victory.
