Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite on Monday is going on a working visit to Norway where she will take part in the meeting of the International Labour Organisation. The event will discuss ways to fight unemployment, stimulate economic growth and reduce social exclusion.
Grybauskaite and Swedish Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg will give keynote speeches in the discussion How to Overcome Consequences of Financial Crisis,
The president during her visit will also meet with Norway's King Harald V to discuss bilateral political relations, cooperation in the Nordic Baltic Eight (NB8) with the purpose of resolving topical issues to the entire region, NATO current issues, and Lithuania's preparations for the EU presidency.
