The Western Region Development Council has announced the launch of the first edition of the "Al Gharbia Investor Guide," aimed at introducing the investment environment in Al Gharbia and highlighting the leading economic sectors.
The guide is a reflection of the area's vast potential, being rich in natural resources and endless investment opportunities, making it one of the major sought after areas for investments in the UAE.
It has been designed to help investors understand the potential of Al Gharbia being a thriving market, and provides ample information on establishing various businesses across numerous sectors and on expanding current operations in the area.
The comprehensive "Al Gharbia Investor Guide" will also provide useful insights on the investment environment in Al Gharbia which is considered today as the largest investment opportunity in the region putting a spotlight on each of the seven cities including the implementation of major projects.
In addition, the guide will provide information on related authorities provided for liaison guidance such as, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, The Western Region Municipality, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ZonesCorp, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority to name a few.
In a statement following the launch of the guide, Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Director of Investment, Promotion and Public Relations at WRDC said: "The launch of Al Gharbia investment guidebook is a milestone achievement that is directly aligned with WRDC's strategic priorities in achieving sustainable development and encouraging business diversification, promoting Al Gharbia as ideal the investment hub on a local, regional and global level".
Al Mazroui added: "The guidebook incorporates briefs on the systems and facilities associated with the investment process in Al Gharbia including information on regulations, taxes, incentives and more that companies and investors seek".
He added, "The guidebook also provides details on leading economic sectors in Al Gharbia highlighting investment opportunities associated with each sector. In addition, the guidebook provides information on economic activities and the process of approvals obtained from the concerned authorities".
