Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Chief Hussain Mehanti has said that the JI candidates fulfilled each and every article of the Constitution, including Article 62 and 63.
Addressing a meeting of the JI office bearers at Idara-e-Noor Haq here on Tuesday, he said that the successful scrutiny process of the candidates was an open prove that the JI was the only party which can provide an honest and sincere leadership to the people of the country.
He informed that the JI candidates have filed the nomination papers for contesting general elections on provincial and national assemblies’ seats from the country but none of its candidates found guilty in fake degree cases or bank defaulters.
“If the transparent elections will take place in the country then the JI would be the only party which has the mandate of the people,” Mehanti added.
Mehanti further said that no one can pointed out finger on the honesty and sincerity of the JI leaders even its opposition parties had fully aware by this fact that the JI leaders had possess an exemplary character. He said that the JI candidates and workers could communicate freely with the people due to their positive characters.
Moreover, JI Karachi Naib Ameer and the candidate for PS-103, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the JI leadership will bring back the past glory of Karachi and will make it the “City of Lights” in true sense. He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in Union Council No-2, ‘Pahar Gangh’ here on Tuesday.
He said that the May 11 would be the decisive day to rid from target killers, extortionists and terrorists. He urged the people to make strength of Jamaat-e-Islami and vote for ‘Tarazu’ (Equilibrium) on the day of general elections.
Hafiz Naeem further said that the JI would impose the rule of Madina after coming into power, where every person would enjoy the equal rights without any discrimination.
Meanwhile, the area people participated in the large numbers and ensured their full support to JI candidates in upcoming general elections.
On the occasion, Hafiz Naeem visited the different union councils and met with the area people. Talking to the people, Hafiz Naeem said that the JI came forward with a pledge to bring back the past glory of the city and rid it from terrorists.
He stressed upon the need that the people of the city should come forward and play their due role to clean the city from target killers and extortionists with the power of their votes.
Furthermore, JI leader had inaugurated a free medical camp organised by Al-Khidmat in ‘Khando Goth’, Wahid Colony where doctors inspected the patients and provided them free of cost medicines.
