25 SHOs assume charge at new stations

As many as 25 new station house officers (SHOs) have been appointed by City Police Officer (CPO) Abdul Razzaq Cheema in the police stations of Rawalpindi district in a bid to hold the general elections 2013 in free, fair and partial manner.All the newly appointed SHOs have assumed their charges and started working, informed police spokesman Inspector Raja Fayyaz on Wednesday.According to him, CPO Abdul Razzaq Cheema stationed Inspector Raja Mussadiq Hussain as new SHO PS Waris Khan, Inspector Aziz Aslam Niazi in Police Station (PS) City SHO, Inspector Faryad Hussain SHO PS Cannt, Inspector Tanveer Javed SHO PS Sadiqabad, Inspector Sanaullah Khan SHO PS RA Bazaar, Inspector Muhammad Nauman SHO PS Gunjmandi, Inspector Muhammad Zariat SHO PS Ratta Amral, Inspector Tahir Abbas SHO Pirwadhai, Inspector Aqeel Abbas SHO PS Banni, Inspector Asif Nawaz SHO PS New Town, Inspector Kazim Ali Naqvi SHO PS Race Course, Inspector Zulfiqar Ahmed Zafar SHO PS Westridge, Inspector Akhtar Ali SHO PS Naseerabad, Inspector Arif Mehmood SHO PS Civil Line, Inspector Chaudhry Asar Ali PS Saddar Berooni, Inspector Imtiaz Ahmed SHO PS Rawat, Inspector Hafeez-ur-Rehman SHO PS Chauntra, Inspector Muhammad Khan SHO PS Mandra, Inspector Allah Baksh SHO PS Jatli, Inspector Asif Abbas SHO PS Kallar Seydan, Inspector Muhammad Raffique SHO PS Kahuta, Inspector Zafar Shakeel SHO PS Murree, Inspector Akbar Abbas SHO PS Kotli Sattian, Inspector Zaman Raza SHO PS Gujar Khan, Inspector Ilyas Ahmed SHO PS Taxila, Inspector Zulfiqar Bazaid SHO PS Wah Cannt and posted Inspector Mushtaq Ahmed new SHO PS Saddar Wah., However, according to sources Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) barred the transfers of two SHOs as both have been probing into two high profile murder case.SHO PS Morgah Abdul Sattar Khan was still performing his duty on his old seat as he has been investigating the blind murder of SCP lawyer Chaudhry Muhammad Khan whereas SHO PS Airport Malik Raffaqat has been probing into a woman murder case namely Sabira Bibi involving Haji Imtiaz Ali Khokhar alias Taji Khokhar, the brother of former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Haji Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
