President, VP and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince offer condolences on death of Margaret Thatcher

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent two condolence cables to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on the death of former British Prime Minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher.

Sheikh Khalifa expressed his profound sorrow on the death of Baroness Thatcher. The UAE President recalled her role and great efforts in promoting and strengthening the distinguished relations between the two friendly peoples and countries.

Meanwhile, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar cables to Queen Elizabeth II and David Cameron.
