Had major democratic forces of the country raised voice over Balochistan issue situation must not have reached the situation of today. Pinning hope and expectations with rulers will be foolishness. BNP has constituted committee for seat adjustment with other political parties.

These views were expressed by President Balochistan National Party (BNP) Sardar Akhtar Mengal at a Press conference here Thursday.

Former District Naib Nazim Kharan Muhammad Ismail Pirakzai and former Tehsil Nazim Muhammad Juma Kabdani announced to joint BNP at the Press conference.

Akhtar Mengal said from day one there is change positive took place among the minds of rulers and secret agencies. They were still demonstrating power. Pinning hopes and expectation with them will be biggest foolishness. He aid it is thought of the rulers to withdraw BNP form its democratic thinking. It is there mistake. He said politics and sacrifices of party are not hidden to any one.

He said cancellation of visit to Balochistan by European Union Observes is regrettable. He aid they want to come to Balochistan but secret agencies are hurdled in this way. Still we request European Union Observes to come to Balochistan so that they could see for themselves what happens to Baloch nation.

He said big parties did not raise voice over Balochistan problem. Had they had done this situation would not be the same as today. If democratic forces strive Balochistan can be steered away from problems. Their sympathies are with us but they do thing practically.

Answering a question Akhtar Mengal said talks with PMAP, National Party and other political parties of Balochistan were underway for seat adjustment. A committee has been constituted with Dr Jehanzeb Jamaldini in this connection.

Former Naib Nazim Muhammad Ismail said under prevalent deterioration situation only BNP is a political party that can ensure peaceful atmosphere to the people in the province.
