Two election tribunals dismissed 42 appeals whereas 83 appeals were adjourned and five appeals were allowed. The tribunal, comprising Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh and Justice Shahid Waheed, heard 74 appeals and allowed one appeal whereas 18 were dismissed and remaining 54 adjourned. But, the tribunal referred an appeal against acceptance of Liaqat Abbas Bhatti’s nomination paper from NA-103, to the Election Commission for fixing it before another tribunal after Justice Shahid Waheed observed that he had been associated with the parties.
