Yesterday, Foreign Ministry's State Secretary Andris Teikmanis met with the parliamentary group of the German Bundestag for expelled, relocated and German minorities led by its chairman Klaus Brahmig, LETA was informed by the Foreign Ministry's Press and Information Division.
German parliamentarians were interested, in particular, in Latvia's experience of overcoming the economic crisis that could be useful to other countries.
Teikmanis informed the German side about Latvia's reforms in integration and the country's aspirations of joining the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The sides also discussed cooperation within NATO, and Teikmanis appreciated NATO member states' support for the continuation of the Baltic airspace policing mission.
