Concern on use of cell phones in exam cheating

Chairman Board of Secondary Education Hyderabad Prof Abdul Aziz Khanzada has said the trend of cheating in exam with use of cell phone is on the rise and the examiners have to take every possible effort to ban use of cell phones in exam halls.

After conducting a surprise visit on Government Boys High School Tando Muhammad Khan during paper of Pakistan Studies, he told media that they are ensuring to hold exam in transparent manner. He regretted that last day some hooligans misbehaved a headmaster when he stopped them from exam cheating. He said the educational officers are doing their best, but administration and police are have to pay their constructive role in ending exam cheating culture.

He said during raids on exam centers on Friday, seven students were debarred, while many cell phones, books and notes were recovered from students. He said so far 250 cheater students and 50 impersonators have already been caught during the ongoing matriculation exams. He said 26 vigilance teams are conducting surprise raids on exam centers and FIRs are being registered against those involved in malpractice.
