Grenada defeated hosts St Vincent and the Grenadines by eight wickets on Wednesday in their final match of the Windward Islands Under 15 Cricket Tournament.
The victory confirmed Grenada’s second position despite eventual champions Dominica suffering an upset against St Lucia.
Dominica however had earlier recorded their fourth straight win that virtually assured them of the Windward Islands Under 15 Cricket title.
They defeated defending champions, Grenada by seven wickets at the main Arnos Vale Playing Field in St. Vincent on sunday.
Batting first against Grenada on Wednesday, St Vincent were bowled out for 115 in 46.2 overs.
Fast bowler Darron Nedd took three for 27; Narun Singh two for 19 and Aviel Antoine 2 for 36.
In reply, Grenada reached 116 for two off 24.2 overs, thanks to an unbeaten half century from Captain Emmanuel Stewart.
He was not out on 54, along with Donald McDonald on 18 while Dejon Jeurakhan added 22.
Grenada finished on eight points, two behind Dominica with St Lucia on six points and St Vincent and the Grenadines scoreless after losing all six matches.
