Normunds Sejejs is returning as the general manager of the Riga "Dinamo" ice hockey club.
Sejejs was Riga "Dinamo's" general manager during the first four Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) seasons, and all these years the club qualified for the KHL playoffs.
Before last season, Sejejs signed a contract with the Czech club Prague "Lev". Although the club got as far as the KHL playoffs, Sejejs' contract was not prolonged.
Riga "Dinamo's" general manager last season was Juris Opulskis, who will now continue to work as the manager of the club's youth team.
Sejejs, a former national hockey team player, began to work as assistant coach at the "Riga 2000" club in 2004. When the Riga "Dinamo" club was established in 2008, Sejejs became the club's general manager.
