Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Sunday rejected reports that military training is provided for Syrians in Jordan, the state-run Jordan Television reported.
"No military training is provided for the Syrians in Jordan ... I stress that there is no civil or military entity that provides training for Syrians in the kingdom," the prime minister said.
Ensour said that Jordan will resort to the UN Security Council to discuss the issue of Syrian refugees, noting that the increasing influx of Syrian refugees has put great pressure on Jordan. According to official figures, there are more than 480,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan.
