“He just stood out there, and started playing air guitar,” said neighbor Pamela Brown, when she witnessed a man staring at a lunar eclipse that took place on Tuesday night, which caused the moon to look red.

“I saw the whole thing from across the street,” said another neighbor, Stan Gray.

“He was walking home and happened to look up at the sky. Then, when he saw that it was the blood moon, he goes, “That’s what I’m talking about!’ And just started jamming.”

“I was on my porch swing when it happened,” said third neighbor Nicole Baum.

“He looked at me in the midst of it, as if we were sort of in the moment together. I just went back to my knitting.”

“He looked at me, too,” Gray said. “And then howled, while continuing to play the guitar, as if to say that we're, like, blood brothers, or something. Or, you know, part of some kind of celestial coven of coyotes that only woke when the moon was red, I don’t know.”

“He goes, ‘Yup. Yup. Yup,’ while playing the air drums,” Baum said. Then he howls “Blood Mooooooooooooooooooon,” with this country twang. Then he straightened up, gave us all a sarcastic “ay-yay, captain,” gesture, and went into his house.”

“He was really into it,” said Brown.
