Diamond Pet Foods is voluntarily recalling its cat food in 26 states after tests showed that some of its products don't have as much thiamine as advertised, WREG reported. Thiamine is essential for cats to survive and maintain their normal nervous system function. If cats are suffering from thiamine deficiency, they could be experiencing seizures, wobbling and falling, among other health problems.

Pet owners who notice their cats displaying these symptoms are urged to call their vets.

Diamond Pet Foods adds that there have been no complaints about thiamine levels or any other health issues relating to the recalled products, Fox News reported.

However, we couldn't help but notice that this is the same Diamond Pet Foods that recalled its products last year after a rare strain of salmonella was found in some of its dog food.

This is also the same Diamond Pet Foods that accidentally killed dozens of dogs in 2006 after some of its dog food got tainted by aflatoxins, a type of fungus.

But besides that, their pet food is probably really great.
