The South Korean government is planning a visit by President Park Geun Hye to China in late June for talks with Chinese leaders, the presidential spokesman said Wednesday.
According to the South Korean daily Hankook Ilbo, the visit is set to take place June 26-28.
Park, who took office in February, has repeatedly stressed the importance of China's role in North Korean policy, underlining her intention to bolster South Korean ties with China.
