South Korea lent Cambodia $200 million Wednesday for roads and dam rehabilitation.
The provision of the loan was signed by Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and South Korean Ambassador to Cambodia Kim Han Soo.
The loan is to help three projects concerning road rehabilitation and improvement in 13 provinces and a multipurpose dam linking two provinces in the northwestern part of the country.
Following signing for the loan, Koy Kuong, spokesman for Cambodia's Foreign Ministry, said Cambodia has always sought from donors help in developing infrastructure such as roads, water, power supply and human resources.
South Korean tourists ranked second among foreign tourist arrivals in Cambodia last year and South Korean investment in Cambodia in 2012 amounted to $286 million, according to Koy Kuong.
