The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ said Wednesday it was unable to execute roughly 23,000 scheduled wire transfers due to a computer glitch.
The bank also said it had resolved the issue and will carry out the missed transfers as soon as possible.
The affected transfer service deals with regular, fixed-sum payments commonly used to make housing payments.
