Prince Harry's Caribbean charm offensive (VIDEO)

Prince Harry danced to Bob Marley's "One Love" and raced with Usain Bolt.

Prince Harry has been on a tour of the Caribbean, visiting Belize, the Bahamas, Jamaica and Brazil as a representative for Queen Elizabeth II during celebrations for her Diamond Jubilee.

He's currently in Jamaica where he suspended plans to rappel down a new training wall at a Jamaican military camp for the day in honor of the six British soldiers killed in Afghanistan, and instead watched the locals participate, said the Associated Press.

Yesterday, Harry raced against Olympic champion Usain Bolt in a 100 meter dash, dashing off on a false start while Bolt followed, jogging and laughing. Bolt told the BBC, "He's cool, very down to earth. When you meet dignitaries you think it will be difficult but he just wanted to laugh - it was an honor and a pleasure to meet him."

During his first proper international tour, Harry displayed an easy charm, noted British commentators. Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller has called on Queen Elizabeth II to relinquish her title as Jamaica's official head of state, but there was no frostiness when she met Harry. He hugged the prime minister, who said, "He's a nice man, very nice — a wonderful person," according to MSNBC.

Harry also met Bob Marley's widow, Rita Marley, who handed him a letter which said he would see his mother again, in heaven. She said, "Prince Harry's visit is a blessing. He is a very human boy, he was born in one love as we were born in one love. Harry is a gift from God. He spreads the love," reported The Daily Beast.

Speaking today at a banquet in Jamaica, Harry paid tribute to the Queen saying, "For me, as for millions of people around the world, her lifetime's service to others is truly an inspiration. But she combines all her virtues as a leader and as a head of state, with those of being a wonderful, caring grandmother - to whom we, her grandchildren, are utterly devoted," reported the BBC.
