The results of President Barack Obama's second physical exam since taking office were released on Monday, National Journal reports.

In a two-page report, Dr. Jeffrey C. Kuhlman wrote that Obama is in excellent health and "tobacco free."

“The president is in excellent health and ‘fit for duty’. All clinical data indicate he will remain so for the duration of his presidency," Kuhlman wrote. "The President is current on all age-appropriate screening tests. He is 'fit at fifty' and 'staying healthy at 50+'."

The Associated Press reports that Obama's health has appeared to improve somewhat since his last exam, in February 2010:

At that time, Kuhlman said Obama should stick with “smoking cessation efforts,” and also said his cholesterol level had crept to borderline high and he should alter his diet accordingly.

Obama's cholesterol is now 193, down from 209 in February 2010. The President now weighs 181.3 pounds, and his blood pressure is 107 over 71. He has 20/20 vision in both eyes.

According to the AP, Obama has had periodic physical therapy to deal with some upper back pain.
