Mitt Romney holds major Utah retreat for wealthy GOP donors

Mitt Romney will be spending the weekend raising money at an exclusive three-day retreat for wealthy donors in Park City, Utah.

It is an opportunity for some 700 donors to meet the campaign's staff, as well as, the GOP presidential candidate at a number of scheduled events, Bloomberg reported.

In order to attend, donors must pay $50,000 or at least have raised some $250,000 for the Republican hopeful. according to Bloomberg.

According to CBS News, the attendee list reads like a "who's who" of the Republican Party. Guests will include "former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, South Dakota Sen. John Thune, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, 2008 GOP presidential nominee John McCain, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, Republican strategist Karl Rove, former Reagan chief of staff James Baker, Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone and Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker."

MSNBC said Rove will hold a panel on the media, while Condoleezza Rice will speak about foreign affairs.

Romney outraised Democrats for the first time last month by nearly $17 million more than President Barack Obama.

In addition to Romney's fundraising efforts, billionaires David and Charles Koch are holding an even more exclusive event in San Diego, aimed at raising hundreds of millions of dollars for conservative causes. CBS reported Koch Industries would not even confirm the event, and called the event "a weekend of secrecy."
