Three people were shot dead Friday night in rural Pennsylvania, and a 35-year-old man was arrested after fleeing the state with his 4-year-old daughter, authorities said.

Kevin Cleeves was trying to contact his wife Friday about picking up his daughter, Leia, but she didn't answer the phone, so he went to a home in Quincy Township, the Waynesboro Record-Herald reported.

Cleeves found Brandi Cleeves and Vincent Santucci sitting in a car. They began arguing, he was told to leave but instead opened fire, killing both of them and another woman, Rosemary Holma, police told the Record-Herald.

Cleeves then fled with his daughter. An Amber Alert was issued Friday night but was canceled hours later after the pair were found in Austintown in northeastern Ohio, outside Youngstown, according to The Associated Press.

It was not immediately known if Brandi Cleeves was the child's mother and Cleeves' wife, NBC News reported.

A warrant has been sent to Ohio requesting Cleeves’ extradition.
