Anton Calouri allegedly sent a threatening email to President Barack Obama.
Officials say that Anton Caluori, a 31-year-old man from Washington State, sent an email to the FBI threatening violence against President Barack Obama, CBS reported. As predicted, Secret Service agents then showed up to his home and knocked on his door. Caluori allegedly answered the door carrying a shotgun, a pistol and some ammunition. He charged at the officers while holding his weapons, officials told CBS.
Caluori also allegedly hinted that he had explosives in his apartment. Officers arrested him and searched his home but could not find any bombs, the Associated Press reported. Caluori is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.

Caluori's mother confirmed to reporters that her son had been arrested and expressed shock at the news. "I don't know a whole lot. It's been a surprise," she told KIRO-TV. "How would you feel if your son was just arrested? (He) never got arrested, was in the military, has a college education. I'm just a little bit upset and shocked. He's never done something like that."
