Vice President Joe Biden marked the 11th anniversary of 9/11 with an impromptu stop at the volunteer fire department of Shanksville, Pa.

CBS News reported the Vice President jumped out of his limousine in an unannounced stop after appearing at a memorial for Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pa.

Flight 93, one of the three hijacked planes, when it crashed on September 11, 2001.

Biden stopped the limo and told the fire department's Deputy Chief Brad Shober, he and the other firefighters could come by the White House for a beer.

The New York Times reported the Vice President gave Shober a ceremonial coin and told him, “Next time I see you, if you have that coin, drinks are on me.”

This time he had it.

"He's going to call you, no bull**t," Biden said, pointing to his aide. When some reporters noted his bad language, he corrected himself saying: "This is no malarkey. You come to the White House. I'll buy you a beer."
