A new video appears to capture the moment an Arizona man won half of the record $588 million Powerball jackpot.

The CCTV footage shows a man in fluorescent construction worker clothing checking his ticket in a gas station before confirming the numbers with workers behind the counter.

Perhaps not fully convinced, the man turns to bystanders for more confirmation before leaving the store.

Store employee Kamran Afgan told CCTV the winning ticket appeared to be genuine and matched the numbers pulled in Wednesday's drawing.

No one has officially come forward as the Powerball co-winner in that state.

In Missouri, a mechanic and his wife claimed their share of the record jackpot Friday, the St. Joseph News-Press reported.

Mark Hill, 52, and his wife, Cindy, have three adult sons and a 6-year-old daughter adopted from China. They're giving up their jobs and plan on taking a few family trips with the winnings, ABC News reported.
