A 21-year-old Nevada man was arrested in Seattle late Wednesday near the University of Washington, after authorities detained him and realized he was driving a stolen truck containing firearms, explosives, and body armor.

Weapons found on the unidentified man's person included a stolen scoped rifle, a stolen shotgun, body armor, and explosive devices, wrote USA Today.

The suspect has been taken into custody "without incident" after a brief police pursuit, and a police investigation into his identity and his intentions is currently underway. Police described him as a "high risk" suspect.

"We have no idea what his intentions are," University of Washington Police Chief John Vinson said at a Thursday afternoon news conference, wrote USA Today. "This is a very active investigation. We're trying to rule out everything at this point."

The man is not a student at the University of Washington and it remains unclear what his intentions were, writes the Seattle Times, which noted that police say there's no danger to anyone in the area.

Police had first noticed him sleeping in his truck near a UW housing complex on Tuesday, but released him after questioning as there were no active warrants in his name. Police said to the Seattle Times that they don't think the suspect was carrying any ammunition.
