The drones fired six missiles at a car and a small compound in the Khushhali Turikhel village, a security official told Pakistan’s Express Tribune.

At least six of the militants killed were from Uzbekistan, the security official told Pakistan’s Express Tribune.

“It is not immediately clear if there was an important militant killed in the attack,” a security official told AFP.

According to AFP, the number of US drone strikes in Pakistan has jumped since May. A similar attack killed 10 militants in the Shawal area of North Waziristan on Monday.
