60 Seconds on Earth: What it's like to be displaced by the Islamic State (VIDEO)

Some 2,500 displaced Iraqis live at Kamrava Refugee Camp.

SHEKHAN, Iraq — Kamrava Refugee Camp is home to 2,500 Iraqis who've fled the Islamic State militants overruning towns in northern Iraq. Their stories are harrowing. “The fighting was on our doorstep. We didn't know what was happening outside because we shut our doors and windows afraid for our lives," says Mohammed Sied, a restaurant worker and young father to a 7-month-old girl. "Things got much worse.”
