CALGARY - Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (TSX:CP) has appointed Tony Marquis as its new vice-president in charge of operations in Eastern Canada and the Northeastern United States.
Marquis spent 25 years with CP rival Canadian National Railway Co. (TSX:CNR) in various operations jobs.
His past roles also include being in charge of a locomotive simulator company and leading the turnaround of a Colombian railroad.
Marquis will report to chief operating officer Keith Creel, who is seen a likely successor to CEO Hunter Harrison.
