Toronto Stock Exchange (12,844.08 up 2.46 points):
Athabasca Oil Corp. (TSX:ATH). Oil and gas. Up 68 cents, or 9.33 per cent, at $7.97 on 4.43 million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down two cents, or 0.39 per cent, at $5.15 on 3.95 million shares.
B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up four cents, or 1.54 per cent, at $2.63 on 3.65 million shares.
BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Up six cents, or 0.73 per cent, at $8.28 on 3.14 million shares. The smartphone company posted a US$965-million loss in the June-August period, in line with its warning last week, while revenue plunged 45 per cent to US$1.6 billion.
Air Canada (TSX:AC.B). Airline. Down eight cents, or 2.16 per cent, at $3.62 on 3.01 million shares.
Toronto Venture Exchange (952.86 up 4.72 points):
Madalena Energy Inc. (TSXV:MVN). Oil and gas. Up two cents, or 4.49 per cent, at 46.5 cents on six million shares.
Donner Metals Ltd. (TSXV:DON). Miner. Unchanged at half a cent on 4.66 million shares.

Resolute Forest Products Inc. (TSX:RFP). Forest products. Up seven cents, or 0.51 per cent, at $13.86 on 1,556 shares. The largest newsprint supplier in North America is looking to cut more than a quarter of its workforce at its newsprint mill in Baie Comeau, Que., to trim costs due to falling demand from overseas customers.
