PASCAGOULA, Miss. - Jackson County supervisors said they are sold on a regional concept for attracting visitors to the Coast.
But there are still details to work out about how the Mississippi Gulf Coast Regional Convention
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1iqNxfh ) convention board president Duncan McKenzie met with the Board of Supervisors on Monday to secure a letter that Jackson County acknowledges the operating agreement with the visitors board. McKenzie told county leaders it has until July 2015 to come up with a funding mechanism.
