California boy, 12, guilty of murder in death of neo-Nazi dad

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Jan 14 (Reuters) - A California judge found a 12-year-old boy criminally responsible for second-degree murder in the death of his neo-Nazi father on Monday, following a trial that centered on accusations of abuse and the young defendant's grasp of right and wrong.

The ruling means that Joseph Hall, who was 10 when he shot his father Jeffrey Hall to death in May 2011, could be sent to a juvenile facility until he is 23.
