March 4 (The Sports Xchange) - Penguins 4, Lightning 3
Reigning MVP Evgeni Malkin returned to the lineup for the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night after missing four games with an injury.
He looked like his normal self, scoring what was perhaps the NHL's most spectacular goal of the season in helping the Penguins to a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
With Pittsburgh trailing 2-1 early in the third period, Malkin split two defenders and slid the puck into the net.
Less than two minutes later, Sidney Crosby scored to extend the Penguins' (23-15) lead on top of the Atlantic Division standings.

Coyotes 5, Ducks 4 (SO)
Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored on the fifth round of a shootout to give Phoenix its second consecutive 5-4 shootout victory over Anaheim in the second meeting between the two teams in three days.
Ekman-Larsson beat Jonas Hiller to the glove side, banging a shot off the post, while Mike Smith saved four shots in the shootout. Scott Sullivan and Ryan Getzlaf scored in the second round of the shootout.
Phoenix (11-8-3) won for the third time in four games, while Anaheim (15-3-3) suffered its second straight overtime tie.
The Ducks, who have the second-most points in the league, had not gone two straight games with a victory this season.

Maple Leafs 4, Devils 2
Clarke MacArthur picked up the game-winner and Nazem Kadri stretched his point streak to five games as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 at the Air Canada Centre.
MacArthur put a Kadri feed past Johan Hedberg on Toronto's (14-9-0) fourth power play of the night.
Andrei Loktionov's tripping penalty, which put the Maple Leafs on the power play, was the Devils third offensive zone penalty of the game.
Phil Kessel picked up the insurance marker less than two minutes later putting home a 2-on-1 feed from James van Reimsdyk for his fifth of the season.
New Jersey (10-7-5) has now lost all five games without netminder Martin Brodeur. The Devils had won their previous three games in Toronto. (Editing by Julian Linden)
