China formally charges former rail minister with graft

BEIJING (Reuters) - China has formally charged former railways minister Liu Zhijun with corruption and abuse of power, though a date for his trial has yet to be set, state media said on Wednesday.

"Beijing No.2 People's Procuratorate filed the charges against Liu with the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court," the official Xinhua news agency said in a brief report.
