Explosions heard in southern Israeli resort of Eilat

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Explosions were heard in the southern Israeli city of Eilat on Wednesday and sirens sounded, police said, in what Israel Radio described as a rocket attack.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. Militants in Egypt's Sinai have fired rockets at Eilat, a Red Sea resort, in the past.
