OF Leonys Martin extended his career-high hitting streak to 13 games with a single in the third. Martin finished 1-for-3 with a run.

RHP Yu Darvish is winless in a career-high seven consecutive starts, going 0-2 during that stretch. Darvish has struck out at least six in six consecutive starts, including two double-digit performances. However, in his last start, the right-hander threw a season-low 5 1/3 innings, giving up seven hits and three earned runs against the Yankees.

RHP Nick Tepesch's struggles against the lineup a third time around continued against the Reds on Saturday. Tepesch gave up three consecutive hits to begin his third time through. He left after four innings, seven strikeouts and three earned runs.

DH Lance Berkman (sore right knee) remained out of the lineup for a third consecutive game. Berkman said Friday that he was injured departing the team plane on Thursday.

RHP Colby Lewis (right elbow surgery) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. Lewis said he could return as early as late July if he does not have another setback.

RHP Alexi Ogando (right shoulder inflammation) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. Ogando threw 50 pitches on Friday. Texas said that if all goes well Ogando could be scheduled to begin rehab assignments before the All-Star break.

RHP Joakim Soria (Tommy John surgery) will make back-to-back rehab starts as his next step to return.
