Since June 11, he is 5-0 with a 1.24 ERA in 43 2/3 innings. "In our opinion he was the best guy in the market and we wanted to make a push to get him," Texas GM Jon Daniels said.
RHP Alexi Ogando is scheduled to come off the DL and start Tuesday. He was placed on the DL on June 9, retroactive to June 6, with right shoulder inflammation and made three starts for Triple-A Round Rock. Ogando has been on the DL twice this season. He is 1-1 with a 10.03 ERA in eight career games (two starts) against New York.
