LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Having already battled Spider-Man and Predators, Topher Grace is gearing up for his next challenge - secrecy - as he's in talks to join the cast of Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar," TheWrap has learned.

Paramount and Warner Bros are teaming on the epic sci-fi movie, which stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine and Mackenzie Foy, as well as John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Bill Irwin and Timothee Chalamet, whose castings were first reported by TheWrap.

Story follows a heroic group of explorers who travel through a wormhole and into another dimension.

Grace is being eyed for a supporting role, the details of which (naturally) are being kept as top-secret as the script the director worked on with his brother Jonah Nolan.

Christopher Nolan is also producing with Emma Thomas and Lynda Obst, while Jordan Goldberg will exec produce with Caltech physicist Kip Thorne, who serves as a technical consultant on the project.

Grace came to prominence as the star of "That '70s Show" and while he hasn't become a "movie star" like Mila Kunis or a brand unto himself like Ashton Kutcher, I've been impressed with how his career has developed since the series ended. Not only was he really good in Paul Weitz's "In Good Company," but I was charmed by his performance "Take Me Home Tonight," which he executive produced and helped write.

Topher will soon be seen in upcoming romantic comedy "A Many Splintered Thing," and the serial killer thriller "The Calling," which reunites him with his "Big Wedding" co-star Susan Sarandon.

Deadline broke the news of Grace's casting.
