He gave up one run on six hits with one walk and five strikeouts in six innings. Guthrie has won three of his last four starts. He is 6-3 with a 3.31 ERA in his career against the Twins. He has struck out 42 Twins in 70 2/3 innings.

3B Mike Moustakas (2-for-3) hit his eighth home run of the season in the third inning and his ninth in the eighth inning. He has three home runs since the All-Star break. 2B Chris Getz, who has a sore left knee, has not played since Saturday. He is day-to-day.

OF Lorenzo Cain has not played since Saturday due to tightness in his left groin. He will be put through a full workout Wednesday and could return that night against the Twins.
