DE Sammy Brown isn't practicing because of a calf injury.

TE Lance Kendricks opened training camp on the physically unable to perform list because of a knee injury suffered in OTAs. He was expected to miss 10 days to two weeks of practice.

T Braden Brown was waived by St. Louis.

T Braden Brown, a rookie free agent who suffered a back injury in offseason workouts, hasn't practiced in training camp. It is believed the team is trying to work out an injury settlement.

T Rodger Saffold is entering the final year of his rookie contract and was switched from left to right tackle after the signing of Jake Long. He was disappointed when the move was made, but he has accepted it and is doing well. Said offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, "In the spring there were some growing pains I think, but he's come back and he obviously worked extremely hard over the break. He's really looked good at right tackle in training camp these four days." Left defensive end Chris Long, who faces him in practice, said, "Rodger impresses me every day. He's done a great job of embracing the change. He's improved throughout the summer."

S Matt Daniels opened training camp on the physically unable to perform list because of a knee injury. Daniels has had knee issues since joining the team as an undrafted free agent last year. Coach Jeff Fisher said Daniels is very close to returning and should be available when the preseason games begin.

C/G Barrett Jones opened training camp on the non-football injury list because of a foot injury suffered in the SEC Championship Game for Alabama. He passed his physical Sunday, and had significant reps at center with the second and third units Monday.

OT Graham Pocic signed with St. Louis.

G Kevin Saia was waived by the Rams.

G Kevin Saia (foot) was waived/injured Tuesday and will be placed on reserve/injured if he clears waivers.

DT Jermelle Cudjo opened training camp on the physically unable to perform list because of a foot injury. Cudjo didn't miss time in OTAs. He was expected to miss a week or two of practice.

DT Michael Brockers missed the first three games of the 2012 season because of a high ankle sprain. He came back and played well, but Brockers believes things will be even better after totally healing and also having February surgery for bone spurs in his other ankle.

TE Phillip Lutzenkirchen, a rookie free agent, missed the first two days of full-squad workouts because of an ankle injury. He was able to begin practicing Saturday (July 27).
