Following the game, manager Ned Yost would not comment on Davis' chance of staying in the rotation, but he didn't sound encouraging. "It's hard to answer a question like that. I'm not going to answer a question like that after we just lost 7-2." But when asked if that was a fair question, he said, "In all fairness it is."
