RHP Ethan Martin, Saturday's starter, had his shortest big-league outing (0.2 IP, 3 R, 3 H, 3 BB) after his longest the last time out when he threw 6 1/3 innings and gave up two runs in a 5-4 win over the Rockies.

RHP Roy Halladay, Sunday's starter, was originally scheduled to make a minor-league rehab start for Double A Reading. But because the Phillies used Tyler Cloyd -- Sunday's previous scheduled starter -- in Saturday's extra-inning game, Halladay will make his return to the Phillies' rotation on Sunday against Arizona.

CF Roger Bernadina batted leadoff on Saturday and had his first hit as a Phillie with a solo home run in the sixth inning.

RF Casper Wells pitched for the second time in his big-league career and took the loss.

LF Domonic Brown left Saturday's game in the top of the third inning with right heel soreness. Brown struck out in the first inning and was replaced by John Mayberry Jr. After the game, manager Ryne Sandberg said Brown has had soreness in the region of his Achilles' tendon for the past couple of days and that he's day to day.
