RF Marlon Byrd signed to a two-year, $16 million contract -- pending a physical -- with the Philadelphia Phillies on Nov. 12. The 36-year-old batted .291 with 24 home runs and 88 RBIs for the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates in 2013. He also batted .364 with two doubles a home run and five RBIs in six playoff games with the Pirates. This came after having served a 50-game suspension for violating the league's Joint Drug Agreement in 2012.
