Magic 103, Thunder 102: Tobias Harris made a fast-break dunk at the buzzer as Orlando came from 17 down to shock visiting Oklahoma City.
Victor Oladipo tracked down the rebound of a Kevin Durant miss and fed Maurice Harkless, who laid the ball off to the trailing Harris for the winner. Harris had 18 points while Arron Afflalo scored 16 and Oladipo and Glen Davis added 14 each as the Magic won for the fifth time in six home games.
Durant registered 29 points – 15 in the first quarter – and matched his career high with 12 assists as the Thunder lost for only the second time in 14 games. Serge Ibaka had 26 points and five blocks while Reggie Jackson added 12 points for Oklahoma City.
Harris capped a 17-5 run to start the fourth quarter with a short jumper as Orlando took a four-point lead with a little over six minutes left. Thabo Sefolosha’s corner 3-pointer gave the Thunder a 102-99 lead with 1:55 left and Afflalo made 2-of-3 free throws with just under a minute left to set up Harris’ heroics.
Durant scored 17 points and Ibaka added 14 in the first half as the Thunder shot nearly 60 percent and led by as many as 17 before settling for a 65-51 edge at intermission. Jameer Nelson drained two 3-pointers in the third quarter to help the Magic trim a 16-point deficit to six before the Thunder took an 88-80 lead into the final 12 minutes.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Orlando C Nikola Vucevic recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds for his 20th double-double of the season. … Ibaka made 10-of-13 from the field, shooting at least 50 percent for the 10th consecutive game. … The Magic, who lost 101-98 at Oklahoma City on Dec. 15, snapped a five-game losing streak to the Thunder.
